Reflections of the tour

Dear all readers of this block,

This text is based on my thougts right here and now, therefore there might be some resemblance to what I have written earlier so please avoid getting anoid :-)

We have now been back into our everyday lives for 5 days. I think I talk with the voice of all of us when saying that this has been the hardest part of our journey. Coming back... We are not the same persons as before, it might not seem like this for outsiders viewing us, knowing us but inside of ech and everyone we have changed some more than others but changes have taken place.

Do you know the expression: 'Bildung' & 'Coming of age'? Well this is part of what this journey came to be.

When we started out in Kiel a lot of people where either afraid of becoming seasick, the sea it self, the fact that we were going to be a lot of people with very little space, expectations of doing art and so on...

Well we have overcome our fears, we have joint a very unic union of 'crazy' people, we have become very speciel to each and everyone and that is what makes it so very special.
Even for those of us that have experienced a great many things, this group and our journey together has been a non forgettable memory which will stay for us forever.

Okay, now I will return to where I left writing about our tour many days ago now.

It will come as I remember it, so maybe oters have different memories, which I hope they will add.

We had some very nice days staying in Holmhälla Gotland, a very beutiful place worth visiting again.
After accepting not to be on Helena for the next three days, we enjoyed the landscape and the things we where presented to while staying on this beutiful island Gotland. We had time for art wotk, we had time for sauna, we had time for loads of food and a lot of time to speak to each other now that we did not have Wathces.
We of cource met Helena & Staffan, we where at Gotlands Konstskola, given lessons in drawing with our 'wrong' hand, 'right' hand and both hands. We drew a male model, which some of us had never done before.
We visited Lars Jonssons Museeum and had a tour into how he works. He himself was our guide, and I think that all of us was very facinated by this huge man being able to paint so delicately as he does.
We went to the beachs of Gotland, to explore, to collect rocks, to paint, to think, to talk, to take photoes and a lot more.
Returning to Helena again was like coming home, everyone got right back into their sailing clothes, adapting to sea and sailing again very fast.
We all knew that we only had a few more days left on the boat, so unconsiously i think we all wanted the most out of it.

Lunch break, will return...
